Description
Paul Components has been manufacturing bicycle components in a renovated garage in Chico, California since 1989, which was a former oil distribution facility for Texaco Oil until 1926. Paul believes that great products should be based on simple ideas, easy maintenance, and a high level of functionality.
A masterpiece of cantilever brakes that combines the strongest braking power of the Mafac Tandem brakes of yesteryear with state-of-the-art maintainability. This is the touring version of the Neo-Retro cantilever brake, with an increased arm angle to prevent interference with bags, racks, and other touring essentials.
The spring tension is infinitely adjustable, so you can set the lightness of pull to your preference.
The braking power is also excellent, making this brake suitable for a wide range of applications from touring bikes to cyclo-cross bikes.
When setting up a PAUL front/rear combination, we recommend Neo Retro brakes for the front and Touring Canti brakes for the rear, as they have less opening and do not interfere with your feet when pedaling.
