PAUL COMPONENT Boxcar Stem

PAUL COMPONENT was founded in 1989 in a former oil distribution garage in Chico, California, and has been meticulously manufacturing bicycle parts in that garage ever since. PAUL believes that great products should be based on simple ideas, easy to maintain, and high levels of functionality.

The Boxcar Stem is the perfect combination of rigidity, strength, and lightness that PAUL has worked hard to develop over the years.

Available in 35, 50, 70 and 90mm with +/- 0° angles and +/- 15° angles for 70mm and 90mm.

The 35mm size was released in response to the current all-mountain bike style of longer top tubes and shorter stems, and is a much-needed item for many mountain bikers.

All screws are high-strength stainless steel with T25 Torx heads. The Torx head prevents the problem often seen with aluminum stems of over-tightening and breaking the faceplate, and at the same time, this size uses the same size as many disc rotor bolts.
