OMBRAZ VIALE
OMBRAZ: Sunglasses without temples.
OMBRAZ is a sunglasses brand featuring a unique design that eliminates the “temples”—the parts that hook over the ears found on standard sunglasses—and instead uses a cord to secure the glasses to the head.
The brand was born out of an experience while traveling, when the temples of a pair of sunglasses broke. As a temporary fix, the creator tied a string around the back of their head to wear them—and found that they stayed in place comfortably and could be hung around the neck when not in use. Furthermore, without temples or hinges, there’s simply nothing for them to break in the first place.
OMBRAZ was born from this real-life experience.
Currently handmade in Italy, the frames are crafted from lightweight, highly durable TR-90 nylon, and the lenses feature Carl Zeiss Optics. The cord is made in Japan from recycled fishing nets.

VIALE / Viale
Viale means “boulevard” or “tree-lined avenue” in Italian.
It features a rounded lens shape and a slightly classic keyhole bridge. Among the OMBRAZ lineup, this design is understated and easy to wear for everyday use.
Staff member Yanase has been a fan of the VIALE since 2024.
If you look at just the frame, the design is very simple and understated. However, a cord extends in place of the temples. That detail alone sets them apart from ordinary sunglasses and highlights the distinctive OMBRAZ presence.
What’s truly convenient about them is how easy they are to use—even when you’re not wearing them.
This applies not only to VIALE but to all OMBRAZ models: when you’re not using them, you can simply hang them around your neck. There’s no need to go out of your way to put them in a case, and they look quite natural that way. You can wear them all day long, just like a necklace or other accessory.
They serve as eye protection while you’re riding your bike. When you get off, simply drape them around your neck.
Additionally, small visor-like extensions on both ends of the lenses reduce glare from the sides. While the design is simple, it’s fully equipped with the functionality needed for outdoor use.

- 梱包の都合上、いくつかのパーツを外した状態でお送り致します。最寄りの自転車店様にて組み付け作業をご依頼することを強くお勧めいたします。
