OMBRAZ: Sunglasses without temples.
OMBRAZ is a sunglasses brand featuring a unique design that eliminates the “temples”—the arms that hook over the ears found on conventional sunglasses—and instead uses a cord to secure the glasses to the head.
The brand was born out of an experience while traveling, when the temples of a pair of sunglasses broke. As a temporary fix, the founder tied a string around them and looped it behind their head—to their surprise, the sunglasses stayed in place comfortably, and they could simply hang them around their neck when not in use. Furthermore, without temples or hinges, those parts simply cannot break in the first place.
OMBRAZ was born from that real-life experience.

True to its name, the large, single-piece shield lens ensures a wide field of view while firmly protecting your eyes from strong sunlight and wind.
This sporty, single-lens model joins the OMBRAZ lineup, which has traditionally focused on casual frame styles.
Because the large shield lens covers a wide area of the face, there are virtually no frames to obstruct your view; the world through the lens expands in every direction—up, down, left, and right—as well as straight ahead.
This wide field of view is a major advantage, especially when riding a bicycle.
Even when you lean forward and look up, the frame rarely enters your field of vision, and checking your surroundings to the left and right is effortless. Additionally, because the large lens covers a wide area of your face, it minimizes wind intrusion, ensuring comfort even during long rides.

The REFUGIO is also equipped with separate rubber nose pads.
