What's MIPS?
MIPS stands for Multi-directional Impact Protection System, which is designed to enhance brain protection against rotational motion transmitted to the head from various angles. Rotational motion is a combination of rotational energy (angular velocity) and rotational force from angular acceleration that affects the brain and increases the risk of mild and severe brain injury. The MIPS protection system has been proven to diffuse the energy and force transmitted to the brain, thereby reducing rotational motion.
Features
- High-impact ABS plastic outer shell.
- The inner shell made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) protects the head from strong impacts.
- Magnetic buckle can be easily operated with one hand and does not pinch the skin. It is also safe for children.
- Two front vents, seven top vents, and two rear vents prevent head steam.
- Shock-absorbing zones are used on the outside of the EPS. The EPS effectively absorbs energy in the event of a collision and protects the head.
- Adjustable spin dial for easy and comfortable fit.
- Removable visor keeps the sun and rain out.
- Cushioned padding around the chin area of the strap.
- An inner pad set is included for optimal fit.
- Grooves on the inside of the EPS inner shell allow for better airflow.
- Reflective material is used on the front and rear NUTCASE logo areas. The NUTCASE logo on the front and back are made of a reflective material, making them easily visible from all angles.

- We ship within 1-2 business days after receiving your order (payment). (Basically, orders placed before 12:00 p.m. are shipped the same day.)
- Messenger delivery is available within Nagoya City only.
- We ship every day from Monday to Sunday, except on temporary holidays.
- Available delivery areas: All over Japan and the world.

- The product will be shipped from Circles.

Regarding the delivery of complete bikes
- Please note that a separate shipping fee of 9,900 yen (tax included) will be charged for shipping complete bikes. (However, an additional fee will be charged for delivery to Okinawa and remote islands.)
- After receiving your order, we will do a final check and ship complete bikes, but it may take 1-2 weeks. Please understand.
- We will send the bike with some parts removed for packing. We strongly recommend that you have your bicycle assembled at your nearest bicycle store.
- We will inform you of the delivery date and other details by e-mail.
- We apologize for any sales discrepancies at the store.
Regarding the delivery of frame sets
- Nationwide flat-rate shipping: 5,500 yen (tax included) (However, an additional fee will be charged for delivery to Okinawa and remote islands.)

- We will provide the pre-treatment of facing and tapping for the frame sets purchased at our store as a service. We will inform you separately after purchase.
