The Silent Clutch system, designed from the ground up based on feedback from the Advent series, can be turned on and off simply by turning a dial with the SWORD logo design. Turning it OFF makes it easier to remove and install the rear wheel when assembling the bike, as well as for maintenance and wheeling, while turning it ON prevents the chain from slipping on gravel and bumps.
The pulley cages are designed to work with single front and 11-48T rear cassettes, with the wide range providing a lower gear range while accommodating higher gears to pick up the pace on downhills. Not only that, but the pulley cage itself is interchangeable, allowing for partial repair in case of damage, or replacement with a pulley cage for a front double.
The use of igus bushings in the parallelogram system of the rear derailleur itself improves lateral rigidity and durability, making shifting snappier and more robust.
The orbital barrel adjuster rotates 15 degrees in any direction, allowing you to accommodate different wire guide positions on different frames without headaches, and pull wire routing with the lowest possible load on the rear derailleur.
