The legendary Humuhumu** has been a favorite of many fans throughout Kona's long history. After disappearing from the lineup for a while, it has returned to Circles in 2026 with the coolest update ever.
The model comes from the real-life fish Humuhumu nukunukuapuaa (Japanese name: Tusk Monkeyfish).
It is widely found in the tropical waters of the western Pacific Ocean.The Hawaiian name, humuhumu nukunukuapuaa, is said to be derived from its threatening behavior, which makes it squeal like a pig when angered!
The beautiful double-top-tube silhouette, a tribute to the Klunker culture of the past, is retained, but the contents are completely reconstructed to "today's" standards.
The colors of this Artist Edition of Humu express a unique worldview where craft and digital, retro and present intersect through repetitive patterns and bold color schemes. The rhythm created by the grid, the flowers, and the subtle "gaps" gives a sense of movement even when standing still, and a stronger sense of presence when running.
