Description

[MECHANIC'S COMMENT.]

Outback is a 20" rim ideal for active cargo bikes like OMNIUM. The asymmetrical (asymmetrical/offset) design improves the spoke tension balance between the left and right spokes by up to 30%, providing high rigidity and stability even when loaded with cargo.

Compatible tire widths range from 35mm to 67mm (1.35"-2.6"). The "Outback" is strong enough to handle daily deliveries and shopping, as well as speedy rides through the city and long rides over rough surfaces.

As the name "Outback" suggests, this is a tough and reliable pair to bring out the potential of OMNIUM.

The VELOCITY Dynamo Hub is a hub dynamo with an output of 6V-3W (general standard). It is capable of stable power generation from approximately 15 km/h and is compatible with many hub dynamo compatible lights. It can supply power practically in the road to cruising range, such as commuting, long rides, and gravel riding, and can always turn on the light without relying on the battery.

The sealed cartridge bearing makes it resistant to water and dirt, rotates smoothly, and weighs only about 390-440g. Electricity is generated only when the car is running, and is not supplied while the car is stationary, but resistance during power generation is relatively gentle.

The spokes are SIMWORKS by HOSHI's Peregrine Spoke - 14 Straight Gauge, which is made of stainless steel (SUS304) and finished with a unique special process. The spokes were chosen to be appropriate for the foot of a heavy transporter!

What is a wheel in a bicycle? It is an important part for a bicycle to move forward and has a great influence on the appearance of the bicycle. The wheels are such a very, very important component. This time, I would like to talk about how they are assembled, not about their performance.

In the world of bicycle wheels, there are two types: "fully assembled" and "hand-assembled.

Complete assembly" is a wheel that is sent out by the wheel manufacturer as a finished product, and we, store mechanics, rarely have to make major adjustments to the wheel. (Some wheels need to be fine-tuned, and some wheels need to be hand-assembled.) Because of this, some wheels are made for a specific group of people, or for professionals, or for professional-level riders, and they are not made with each individual customer in mind.

This is where Circles' specialty, "hand assembly" comes in.

The advantage of "hand assembly" is that we, mechanics, select the parts that make up the wheel one by one and assemble them to complete the wheel to make it just right for the user.
