ASTRAL Outback is a tough and reliable rim designed for gravel riding, MTB trail riding, and cross-country racing.

The asymmetric (asymmetric/offset) design improves the balance between left and right spoke tension by up to 30%, resulting in a stiffer, more durable, and more stable wheel. This 20-inch model rim accommodates tire widths from 35mm to 67mm (1.35" to 2.6") and can reliably handle the footwork of cargo bikes loaded with luggage or tough small-diameter vehicles pushing through rough terrain.

The long-awaited silver color is now available for theSHIMANO Cues FH-QC400-HM, which covers conventional 11-speed and lower grades. Durability has been greatly improved, making it perfect for small diametertouring bike builds like the BIKE FRIDAY New World Tourist, where durability is a must.

What is a wheel in a bicycle? It is an important part for a bicycle to move forward, and it has a great influence on the appearance of the bicycle, since it is said that "fashion starts from the feet up". Wheels are such a very, very important component. This time, I would like to talk about the way wheels are assembled, not about their performance.

In the world of bicycle wheel assembly, there are two types: "fully assembled" and "hand-assembled.

Complete assembly" means that the wheel manufacturer sends out the wheels as a finished product, and we, store mechanics, rarely have to make major adjustments to them. (Some wheels need to be fine-tuned, and some wheels need to be hand-tuned.) Because of this, some wheels are made for a specific group of people, or for professionals or professional-level riders, and not for each individual customer.

This is where Circles' specialty, "hand assembly" comes in.
The advantage of "hand-assembly" is, as the name suggests, that each component of the wheel is selected one by one and assembled by our mechanics to complete the wheel, thus allowing us to create a "wheel" that is just right for the user.
