Ryukyu Botanical Aloha: A gentle companion for daily life, reflecting on peace

From our "RYUKYU COLLECTION"—a series that expresses Okinawa’s culture, nature, and spirit in Eanbe's unique style—comes this all-over print long-sleeve aloha shirt themed around "prayers for peace." The artwork was created by illustrator Natsuki Kurachi.

The design features shell ginger flowers and leaves, long cherished in Okinawa, accompanied by illustrations of doves, the symbol of peace. While it has the botanical print typical of an aloha shirt, the black body makes it perfect for city wear as well.

Infused with the wish for a "good-vibes daily life" to continue forever, this is the most serious theme in Eanbe history for an aloha shirt.

※While product photos are processed to be as close to the actual colors as possible, please note that colors may vary depending on your monitor settings, room lighting, etc.

※Because the fabric is dyed by hand by artisans one piece at a time, there are slight color irregularities rather than the perfection of machine production. We hope you will appreciate this as part of the item's charm.

What is Eanbe?

"Bringing 'Ii Anbe' into daily life"
"Ii Anbe" is an Okinawan dialect phrase used when you're feeling good. Whether drinking, traveling, hanging out, or on a date with someone special, we felt that wearing an aloha shirt could make you feel just a little bit better than usual.

Eanbe is a brand that stays by your side for those moments.

We hope your days are filled with "Ii Anbe" (good vibes).

" TROPICAL CITY POP "

The theme held by Eanbe Aloha is "Tropical City Pop."
We aim to create aloha shirts that aren't just for wearing in the tropics like traditional aloha shirts, but also blend into the urban landscape and lifestyle while allowing you to "feel the tropics in your heart and body."

Themes and designs woven into the aloha, such as "music," "drinks," and "laughter," accompany you through your day like background music.

" ABOUT EANBE ALOHA "

For Eanbe aloha shirt fabrics, we carefully select the most compatible materials for each design. The primary material is rayon, which is commonly used for standard aloha shirts. Rayon, meaning "shining thread," is characterized by its high luster and soft texture.

We also use Tencel (Lyocell), which has a soft feel and beautiful luster, as well as excellent moisture absorption and quick-drying properties. It is known as a sustainable material, often cited as being produced using the "most environmentally friendly process in the world." We carefully select the best fabrics from these two options to use in our shirts.

To beautifully express complex patterns, our shirt fabrics are dyed at domestic Japanese dye works using a technique called "hand-捺染 (hand-screen printing)." Hand-捺染 is a method where artisans meticulously dye the fabric one color at a time by hand, allowing for high reproduction of patterns and the expression of delicate hues.

The fabric is then sewn item by item by hand by Okinawan artisans to complete the product before it is delivered to you.

" PHILOSOPHY "

We believe the thrill and fun of wearing clothes that express individuality through patterns, like aloha shirts, lies in "not wearing the same thing as others." Therefore, Eanbe items are released in small production runs for each design.

For someone like me, who wears an aloha shirt 360 days out of the year, the "uniqueness" born from small-scale production is a non-negotiable standard. At the same time, it is connected to our sustainable brand operation of not overproducing clothing that ends up as surplus.

We hope to be a brand that brings "good vibes to all three parties"—the maker, the buyer, and society—and that you will love our products for a long time.
