Description
A Crust-like thin road racer that can step on it firmly, run firmly, and take on the challenge of high speed
CRUST BIKE has suddenly emerged in the United States. Based on the epic touring experiences he has had in his life, Matte, the owner of CRUST BIKE, has rethought the bicycle as a tool that can be used for a long time without breaking down, and has combined the traditional style of landers with the elements of modern bikepacking to create a bike that is fun for cyclists all over the world. We make bikes and components with the message that we want to help cyclists around the world enjoy their cycling life.
As the name suggests, the Crust interpretation is a road frame with the feel of a traditional European road bike, but updated with modern disc brakes and a carbon fork.
The SPIRIT tubing from COLUMBUS is used for a lightweight and supple ride. The Cresto is a lightweight and supple road frame. Ride it and feel the breeze as if you were riding along the Italian seaside. The concept of this frame is to ride fast, with a firm footing and a firm ride.
- The carbon fork Matt designed for this bike has a one-piece molded-in crown race for the headset. If you damage the fork by forcing the crown race into place, you are responsible for the damage.
- Unlike the rim brake version, the Malocchio Disc is compatible with 700c wheels in all size ranges.
- Recommended tire size is approx. 38c, or approx. 35c with fenders.
- Single, double, or triple crankshaft setups are available.
- Flat mount brakes (front and rear). Maximum rotor diameter is 160mm both front and rear.
- Caliper mounting bolts are approximately 37-42mm for front and 32-37mm for rear (depending on caliper). Some calipers have shallow bolt holes, so be careful to engage the bolt firmly with at least 2 threads.
- ED coated for internal rust prevention and weather resistance. Not recommended for submersion in seawater.
- Includes through-axle and fork compression plugs.
- Maximum stack under stem is 40mm; at least a 5mm spacer is required above compression plug. Headset not included.
