Description

There is no better way to get to know the real cyclocross than to experience a race in Europe, the home of cyclocross. With this in mind, I visited the World Cyclocross Championships in Luxembourg in 2017.

The culture I experienced firsthand there, the tremendous energy, enthusiasm, and madness of the races shocked me, and I created this photo book series, "CROSS IS HERE," to convey the atmosphere of the home of cyclocross.

The "CROSS IS HERE" series project also aims to archive the history of the home of cyclocross, which is hot and beautiful, and we continue to travel to Europe each year to release a collection of photos in one volume each year.
The 2019 edition, the third in the series, focuses on photos taken at the 2019 World Cyclocross Championships in Bogense, Denmark. The day that decides the top of the world. The way each rider puts his or her heart and soul into the race is completely different from other races, and even teammates represent their country on this day and fight with all their might. That is why there is an extraordinary spirit and beauty from the athletes, and drama in every racE
The highlight of this year's race will be the moment when Mathieu Van der Pol, who has been seeking the world championship for four years, overcame the pressure and won the long-sought Alcancel with a powerful and unparalleled performancE
The second half of the book also includes photos from two races, the DVV Verzekeringen TrofeeKrawatencross2019 and the Telenet Superprestige Hoogstraten, where the new Arcandel was unveiled the week after the World Championships.
We hope you will feel the atmosphere, enthusiasm, and local culture that you can never experience in a live broadcast.
