TACOMA FUJI RECORDS is a T-shirt brand based on the concept of a fictional record label, and is well known among people in the know, especially among music lovers, outdoor activity enthusiasts and drinkers. When we asked the organizer, Mr. Nabe, to make a T-shirt with the image of CIRCLE'S, he readily agreed with a single response!

The following is a loving message from NABE, and I think it would be great if we could see all the residents of this beloved land of Nagoya, where we were born and raised, wearing this T-shirt and smiling while pottering around!

Message from NABE

"If you want to eat breakfast in Nagoya, you must go to Alibaba. I didn't know what was going on in Nagoya, so I think the first time I recognized the name Circles was when Imoto-san told me about it during our first pop-up at Tumbleweed. Since the neighborhood of Tumbleweed is not a normal place (THE entertainment district), I didn't know about Nagoya outside of that neighborhood until a few years after that conversation, in 2018. I met Kakuozan Larder Niwa, who was selling Ryohei Kazumi's T-shirts at Mori, Michi, and Market, and was staying and camping at Bikelore by myself when Welldone Inochi invited me to join him and Circles' representative Tanaka's party. The following year, I went to the legendary Koganeya. The following year, we had a night at the legendary Koganeya, Nishihara-chan, who had no connection to Inochi but was somehow in Nagoya helping us with our pop-up, had a HAPPY HOUR, Inochi's actual store POT opened and we did a pop-up, and Niwa-kun and his wife became great friends. I had become good friends with Mr. and Mrs. Niwa.

In the morning after a hangover, I always start my day with a hot sandwich from Arriba. While Keita was cooking, I was chatting with Yannack, Yuya, Tomoyan, and others from Circles about the previous night's heavy drinking. It may be a coincidence, but everyone I meet is a nice guy in Nagoya.

What's more comfortable is the rhythm of the people of Nagoya. When I meet Kantoku and Naoka, who come to me on the spur of the moment and talk to me as if they have been with me for a long time, I realize that I am in Nagoya. I was asked by Mr. Tanaka, the president of Circles, last year. At first I thought it was just a big bike shop with a lot of staff, but now that I'm in Nagoya, I understand a little more. There are all kinds of people, all kinds of jobs, all living in the same city, all living at their own pace. I've always been really bad at belonging somewhere, but Circles is different. I can see the beauty of that community.

T-Shirts Circles is an artwork by James Ulmer that shows diverse people supporting each other to create a circle. It is a thank you from Tacoma Fuji to everyone involved in Circles. It's a very nice T-shirt to say the least. Please take a look.
