Description
The aluminum clamps feature the same "KING" laser markings as the headset and are paired with barrel nuts that are stamped with the "King Bee" logo. The barrel nut seat clamp is designed to provide uniform tightness to stabilize the seat post position and protect the frame from excessive force. The distributed load on the bolt also improves durability, making it resistant to rust and wear and suitable for long-term use.
Symmetry is an important element in the design. Over the years, many Chris King users have added subtle, elegant color accents to their bikes by combining bottom brackets and hubs around the headset.
However, there is no item on the top of the bike that balances the color, and Chris King has sometimes felt a little underwhelmed by the lack of such an item. This may seem like a small detail, but in response to that "detail", and the demand from many cyclists for a high quality seat post color, we have now created the Chris King Original.

[How to install]
- Measure the seat tube of your frame to confirm the proper size. Each nominal size fits the outer diameter of the seat tube ±0.5mm.
For example, size 30.0mm fits seat tube O.D. from 29.5mm to 30.5mm. - When installing on aluminum, steel, or titanium frames, it is recommended that a small amount of anti-seize agent be applied to the inside of the seat post collar.
- Maximum tightening torque is 6 Nm.
- Height of seat collar 15.88mm, height from clamp to inner lip 14.35mm.
- A small amount of anti-seize agent is applied to the threads of each post collar bolt and barrel nut. After cleaning or disassembling the seat post collar, it is recommended to reapply anti-seize agent to these threads.
