Chris King Gold Grease is the current high-performance lubricant for hub and bottom bracket bearings. In Chris King's comparison testing, Gold Grease produced about 30% less drag than the previous Silver Grease when new and about 16% less drag after 1,000 miles.
It is designed to combine low resistance with long-term stability and is compatible with both steel and ceramic bearings. Continue to use Blue Grease for headsets.
