BEDROCK SANDALS Cairn 3D Pro II Adventure Sandals

Bedrock was founded in 2011 by two people with a vision to create the best sandals for a variety of outdoor activities and a dream to wear them everywhere on the planet and get to know them. The sandals they make are very simple, based on sandals made of leather straps and soles traditionally used by mountain people, substituting nylon straps and plastic buckles for these materials.

The Cologne 3D Pro II is the most advanced and most functional sandal that Bedrock has created to date. Based on the Cologne, the Cologne 3D Pro II is a new style of sandal with a thicker, more three-dimensional footbed (midsole) for even greater comfort during long periods of use. The sandal features an anatomically shaped arch that supports the foot, and a toe shape that allows the sandal to be firmly gripped.

The three straps around the O-ring on the instep and the heel strap hold the foot in place even when the sole is wet or when socks are worn. The position of the foot on the sole can be finely adjusted by utilizing these straps. The angle of the nose strap and the position of the O-ring on the instep can also be finely adjusted to minimize the stress of tightness on the foot even when the foot is held firmly.

In addition, by adopting the new G-hook method of fastening the heel strap, we were able to overcome the problems of sticking due to mud and peeling during use in swift currents that occurred with Velcro, while also achieving excellent durability for long-term use.

This may seem like a small change to some, but it is a very important point for long-lasting use.

The thick, custom-made sole has a unique, custom-made pattern of deep grooves that combine high grip with unobstructed flexibility. The shape is the same for the entire Cologne series, but the MEGAGRIP PRO Regolith Vibram® Sole from Vibram provides excellent grip on wet, rocky terrain and muddy footpaths. In addition, the sole itself to increase the hardness, we will demonstrate the effect of reducing the thrust back to the sole of the foot on rocky terrain.

In addition, the footbed surface, which looks like a terrain pattern, is designed with small pentagons scattered around it, providing an excellent grip in both dry and wet conditions. The sole is designed to keep the footwear clean by creating an escape route for sweat and water, and reducing the area in contact with the skin at all times. This sole ensures cushioning and stability, and makes wearing the shoes for extended periods of time more comfortable.

The heel strap has a new G-hook.

The outsole, Vibram® MEGAGRIP, is made of a special, highly adhesive rubber material. The aggressive design and angular sole shape greatly improves its grip and durability while keeping mud and debris out.
The new Gopher midsole is 8mm thick, which is more durable than EVA, yet lighter and more resilient.
The new geo-patterned footbed features grooved, three-way traction that provides incredible grip in both dry and wet conditions, while keeping feet comfortable at all times.
The 16mm stack-height sole is of moderate thickness to protect the foot in a variety of feels and provide superior durability.
