BIKE FRIDAY Pocket Rocket Circles Original Complete Bike [Demo Bike for Sale]
It rides great. And it folds up.
BIKE FRIDAYwas born in 1992 in a small garage in Eugene, Oregon .
Most of the bikes BIKE FRIDAY makes are designed with the idea that you can fold them up and take them anywhere in the world.
Among its lineup, the Pocket Rocket isthe model that lets you enjoy the nimble ride typical of a road bike .
It features 20-inch 451 wheels. While it has the nimbleness typical of a small-wheel bike, it also cruises comfortably once you pick up speed.
It may look compact, but once you ride it, you’ll find it’s a little different from what you might expect from a “folding bike.”
It rides well. And it folds up.
It’s great to ride all the way from home, but you can also take the train to start your ride a little farther out, or ride as far as you can and then take the bike on the train back.
Just knowing you “don’t have to worry about the ride home” makes your usual cycling adventures feel a little more free.
It rides as solidly as a road bike, yet can be carried compactly when needed. The Pocket Rocket is a bike that expands the range of places you can explore on two wheels.
From Circles’ perspective: freedom over speed
For this bike , we paired a slimRacing Green frame with silver components, a brown saddle, and brown bar tape to give it a slightly classic vibe.
Rather than chasing speed alone, it’s perfect for cruising through the city, riding a bit farther on the weekend, or even taking the bike on a train to explore unfamiliar places.
The drivetrain is a simple microSHIFT ADVENT 1×9-speed system. Combining a 50T chainring with an 11-38T cassette, it’s designed for effortless riding, from city streets to touring.
And here isour test ride and display model.
Do small-wheel bikes actually ride well?
What’s it like riding 451 wheels?
If you’re curious about any of that, please come take it for a spin.
“I wonder where I’ll go next if I load this onto the train?”
It’s the kind of bike that makes you think about things like that.
