BIKE FRIDAY Diamond Llama Disc Circles Original Complete Bike [Demo Bike for Sale]
A compact frame with plenty of room to enjoy your travels. The Diamond Llama Disc, built by Circles.
BIKE FRIDAY was born in 1992 in a small garage in Eugene, Oregon. Born from the idea of “taking your bike anywhere in the world,” these bikes view the folding feature not merely as a means of storage, but as a “tool for expanding your travels.”
This time, Circles has assembled an Original Complete Bike based on the Diamond Llama Disc —BIKE FRIDAY’s most rugged folding touring bike, featuring a triangular truss frame.
By pairing 20-inch wheels with wider tires, we’ve preserved the agile handling typical of small-wheel bikes while equipping it with disc brakes and a wide gear range—making it perfect for everything from city rides to longer trips and even journeys with luggage.
This particular bike is the very same model we’ve been using as a display and test ride bike at the Circles store—now available for purchase. You can actually straddle it, take it for a spin, and experience the unique riding feel that only BIKE FRIDAY can offer. From the handling and riding position of a small-wheel bike to the ease of shifting gears—aspects that photos and specs alone can’t convey—we encourage you to hop on and experience it for yourself.
Circles’ take: From everyday commuting to short trips
We’ve paired SIMWORKS Little Nick Bars with ESI Chunky grips and assembled the bike for a relaxed ride in a Recreational/Touring position.
Gear shifting is handled by a 10-speed microSHIFT SWORD system. We’ve paired a 42T front single chainring with an 11-38T cassette for a reliable gear setup that works not only on flat city streets but also when venturing out to areas with slight inclines.
The wheelset features VELOCITY Cliffhanger rims and SCHWALBE Marathon 365 tires. By combining sturdy rims with tires suitable for everything from daily commutes to touring, we’ve created a bike you can use to your heart’s content.
Small-wheel bikes aren’t just for going fast. They’re slower than cars but faster than walking. It’s precisely because they travel at that in-between speed that you find yourself noticing scenery you’d normally pass by or taking a detour down an unfamiliar street.
Load it into your car and take it to your destination, then explore the town by bike from there. Take it on the train, and start your day’s journey from the station where you get off.
Being foldable isn’t the goal of this bike—it’s a means to get out and have fun.
The Circles Original BIKE FRIDAY packs the practicality of a touring bike into a compact size.
