ASSOS Fall/Winter Base Layer with Significant Evolution

For the 2024 season, the SKIN LAYER, ASSOS' highly functional base layer for cycling, has been brushed up as the "P1" series. While inheriting the concept and technology of its predecessor, the overall weight has been reduced by about 15%. The new P1 series is even lighter and thinner than its predecessor, which was thin and lightweight enough, and comes closer to the feeling of wearing nothing at all.

In addition, the new P1 series incorporates the technology developed for winter jackets into the base layer, with the front and back sides of the product playing major roles and having different structures. In each season's product, you will experience the outstanding comfort of our base layers, which have been in the Asos lineage for generations.

The back and underarms, on the other hand, have an eye-catching grid of cells, but with a more open weave to increase breathability, expel excess body heat, and prevent overheating during high-intensity riding. Compared to the previous model, the collar height has been slightly raised to improve warmth retention around the neck.

The latest answer is the use of our unique carbon fiber blended fiber, which has excellent quick-drying and antibacterial properties. Separate sizes & silhouettes for men and women

The SKIN LAYER series now offers separate sizes for men and women. In consideration of the differences between the male and female skeletons, the men's version has a box silhouette with a straight shoulder transition. The women's version has raglan sleeves with rounded shoulders.The material is highly elastic, so if you prefer a tighter fit, we recommend a size smaller than the manufacturer's recommendation.
