The MILLE GT WINTER JACKET S11 is the standard winter jacket in the Assos lineup, and has been upgraded to the next-generation S11 for the 2024 season. The MILLE GT WINTER JACKET S11 features a gentle, regular fit that is not too aggressive, a characteristic of the long-ride and endurance MILLE series. We aimed to create a winter jacket with an upright position that is ideal for long-distance riding in winter.

By keeping the specifications to an average level, we were able to combine a shell on the outside with a mid-layer or gilet on the inside, making it easy to adjust the temperature according to the outside temperature and the depth of the season, and making it a long-lasting product.
Two different types of soft shells and two different types of fleece are used to keep you from feeling stuffy.
AIRBLOCK-EVO 916, the main fabric used for the front part of the jacket, is the most heat-retaining softshell in the evolved AIRBLOCK series. It combines windproof protection with high breathability, making it "warm but not stuffy". It is also more stretchable than the previous model's softshell, providing a more supple and comfortable fit.
The front of the sleeves, where the wind hits, are made of NEOS LIGHT softshell, a different material from the chest. On the other hand, the inside of the arms, which are not directly exposed to the wind, are made of RX Thermal Fleece, a material with excellent heat retention properties. The combination of these two materials provides a perfect control of the warmth in the sleeve area and improves the breathability of the fabric.
The middle section of the back is not covered by a softshell but by a panel made of RX EVO Plus, a fleece material that provides superior warmth. This fabric quickly drains hot air from the back without compromising protection. The entire product and all textiles are waterproofed or treated with an environmentally friendly water repellent finish to prevent the body from getting wet from cold winds, as well as from a certain amount of rainfall and bouncing off the road surface.
Other product features
The structure from the throat to the neck and collar is unique to Assos. By using lightweight and soft RX fleece material instead of applying hard soft shell material to this area, a comfortable neck fit is achieved. In addition to the gentle fit, it also increases the heat exhaust effect from the neck area and prevents overheating even without lowering the zipper.
The cuffs with LAW CUT treatment (i.e., left uncut) prevent cold air from entering, while at the same time preventing bumps when gloves are worn together. When gloves are worn, the jacket cuffs are naturally inside and the gloves are outside, so the cuffs do not become loose.
Two reflectors are placed near the center of the three divided back pockets to help improve visibility during dark hours.
