It’s like we’ve been living here together for much longer than we actually have, don't you think?

A comment made on the first night, when we were chatting away in the bungalow, loath to go to sleep.
Ah... it's coming to an end. I don’t want it to, I’m so sad.

A phrase that slipped out on the second day, during our final ride along the coast from Yoichi to Otaru.
I want to go back to the start all over again…

The day after the event, I woke up with a pleasant sense of fatigue.
Looking back through the photos, this thought came to mind.
Everyone’s smiles were so dazzling; it made me so happy.
Even though we only spent a little less than two days—just 36 hours—together.
It was such an incredibly deep, meaningful time.
If I were to sum up these two days in one word, it would be: "wonderful." That really says it all.
〜THANK YOU FOR…〜
I realized once again that RIDE ALIVE is an event created by all the participants together.
Even if our backgrounds and reasons for joining are different, we aim for the same goal, empathize with one another, and each of our individual personalities and energy come together to complete it.
And what led to the "wonderful" feeling I have is due to the girl power of these 20 individuals, and the cheers and support from so many others.

SPROUT
A coffee shop right by Kutchan Station, where we all met up.
They welcomed us warmly, and we were able to get off to a great start. On the morning of the second day, we dripped coffee made from beans roasted and blended at SPROUT for our wake-up cup. It was the start of an exceptionally delicious day.

Bongo Hiroba
Our accommodation was a lovely log house overflowing with the warmth of wood.
We were able to have such a special night and a comfortable ride because the owner was so kind to us.

PRESS CAFE
The venue for the after-party in Otaru.
Everything the chef made was delicious, and thanks to their thoughtful touches, both our stomachs and hearts were overjoyed. It was the perfect ending.

Supporter Guys
While participants were limited to girls, it was only possible with the support of many guys.
The support car, photo support, handling emergencies, and emotional support! Thanks, Takada-kun and Numata-san.

Inocchi-san from welldone, who made our matching sacoches.
Everyone at Circles who trained with us and maintained our bikes in Nagoya.

To everyone who supported us, everyone involved, and everyone who rushed to join us at the after-party.
Thank you all so, so much!!!
I feel so lucky…
Ah… it was wonderful.
Born from a twist of fate—when I thought, "Why don't we try this? It sounds fun!"—this girls' project branched out from Nagoya and successfully closed its curtains on the grand stage of Hokkaido.
When someone told me, "It will definitely be a success, because it's Sam's Bike," I understood what they meant through my own experience once it was all over.
Charming people have a place where they shine, and that’s where other charming people who understand and are drawn to that charm gather.
The gathering grows, and becomes a strong, big circle.

Nami-san, the female owner, is a person overflowing with great love.
Her straightforward thoughts, her deep, deep kindness.
I felt that love so deeply, and was welcomed into such a warm, large circle; my heart was full during my time in Hokkaido.
The happiness that cycling has connected us with.
I hope that through this RIDE ALIVE, the friends I rode with and the women who felt something from it will find it leads to a more fulfilling cycling life from here on out.
Try going to places you usually reach by train or car on your bike.
Try doing the repairs and maintenance you usually leave to the bike shop yourself.
I really want you to try it.
It brings new discoveries, encounters, and fun. Cycling is great.
I can say that with my head held high!
