An unsung hero of a bag supporter for large front bags

Large front bags offer plenty of storage and reliability, but with a little extra help, they can be mounted even more comfortably and stylishly. That help comes in the form of this beautifully CNC-machined Rod Steward.

For cyclists who have ever wanted to mount a SimWorks Voyageur Handlebar Bag or similar securely and smartly, this is the bag supporter you’ve been waiting for. Its construction is extremely simple: a U-shaped stay attaches to the side eyelets on the fork, supporting a large bag from below. Because of its simplicity, you can attach your bag beautifully.

It comes in two sizes, which differ in the length of the crossbar (the straight bar attached to the top) that supports the bag. This simple mounting method, which a rack doesn't offer, helps highlight both your bike and your bag. The bag supporter itself is quite beautiful, too.

[Installation Notes]

*This product cannot be used without a bag. Never ride your bicycle with the Rod Steward installed but without a bag.
*This product is not a replacement for a rack. It is designed to distribute the weight of the suspended bag to the fork or frame and to minimize movement on rough terrain; it is not intended to support the full weight of the bag. If there is not enough space to hang the bag from the handlebars or saddle loops, this accessory cannot be used. In such cases, please use a conventional rack to support the bag.
*Designed for center eyelet mounts on steel forks with wide clearance. A distance of approximately 108–133mm between the fork side eyelets is required.
*The ideal angle for the Rod Steward is 30–45° relative to the fork or stay. You may need to perform tasks such as cutting the stays.
