The story of last month’s NAHBS expedition is being told in SimWorks' Road to NAHBS 2017.
Yes, the goal of this trip wasn't just to reach NAHBS, but to return to Portland afterward to launch SimWorks' new base of operations. That location is inside the Chris King headquarters. We are grateful to have such collaborators lending us their strength in a challenging climate, and we will continue to forge ahead powerfully so that our new base, which is still very much evolving, can become a force to be reckoned with across the sea. We hope you enjoy the photos and get a sense of what this trip was like.
We truly cannot thank Oscar, the chief builder at Cielo, enough for all his help both professionally and personally during this visit to the U.S. It seems his beloved daughter, Allison, put in an amazing performance at the Sea Otter race the other day. She really is talented. I remember snapping this photo, thinking what a wonderful family they are, as it truly shows his devotion—he even makes time in his busy schedule to build a bike for his precious daughter.
We have also introduced photos of other bicycle people we met on this trip on With Bicycle, so please be sure to take a look.
