Even when I don't really feel like it, if I head out for a ride, I always end up feeling glad I did. Just climbing a mountain pass alone in silence and taking in a beautiful view is enough to leave me feeling fulfilled.
The high for this day was supposed to be a warm 20 degrees, but when I stepped out of bed, I felt a chill in the air.
Checking the daily temperature again, I saw the low was 6 degrees—no wonder it felt chilly.
Days with a 14-degree temperature swing will become less frequent as it gets warmer, but the perceived temperature will still differ between the morning/evening and the middle of the day.
