When do you usually wear sunglasses? Many of you might say, "On a sunny ride!" But today, I’d like to introduce a rather interesting pair of sunglasses!
A new pair perfect for cyclists has arrived from FLOAT, the polarized sunglasses brand we carry here at Circles.
FLOAT is a sunglass brand planned and designed in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture, famous as a city of eyewear. Their frames are designed to fit the Japanese facial structure, making them incredibly comfortable and a great fit.
Moreover, the frames are extremely lightweight and the temples are flexible, so they are stress-free to the point that you might even forget you're wearing them. It’s a great bonus that they don’t bother you even while riding.
The model we are introducing today is the
“LYELL MAT BLACK / BRIGHT BLUE”
Released around the autumn, this model features a compact, classic frame paired with "high-contrast lenses."
These lenses have a visible light transmittance of 85%, which is quite bright. They have a subtle light blue tint, so your view doesn't get too dark like it does with standard sunglasses.
At the same time, they cut out yellow light, which can often cause glare, so they effectively suppress brightness. This is highly recommended for those who say, "I'm not a fan of tinted lenses, but I want to protect my eyes..." or "I want to see the natural colors of the world."
And interestingly, this pair of sunglasses was born from the feedback of cyclists.
