Man, isn't fat just the best?
Chomp, chomp, chomp.
Oh… I’m talking about tires, okay??
I’ve been fitting wider tires to my gravel rides and touring bikes quite a bit lately, and there’s one in particular that’s been performing really well, so I’d like to introduce it!
CONTINENTAL Terra Hardpack

CONTINENTAL Terra Hardpack
Size: 700x50c
ETRTO: 50-622
Weight: 615g
Recommended Pressure: 50-65 PSI
Color: Black
Price: 6,050 yen (tax included)
The Terra Hardpack is a tubeless-ready tire that matches the 50mm tire width gravel bikes that are becoming the mainstream in the global gravel scene. This thickness is supreme and absolute...
Of course, it’s not just wide; it also employs the ShieldWall system, which provides high puncture resistance.
Smoother ride than imagined
I actually went on a tour with these tires, and they performed even better than I had imagined!

This is thanks to the characteristic scale-like center pattern.
The side knobs also grip the ground securely on off-road terrain, so you can easily veer off and dive into some gravel.

The tire sidewalls are built thicker for durability, making them relatively stiff as far as tires go. Depending on your air pressure settings, I’d definitely recommend these for those who like a firm, snappy ride!
Most of all, they look great!
I have them fitted to my WILDE Rambler SL, and this beefy look is an irresistible fit—it’s just cool...
The tire clearance on the Rambler SL is 700x50c, which means this tire is the maximum size that can be fitted. It’s not a width that can be easily slapped onto just any bike, but if your frame has the clearance to swallow these, I highly suggest you give them a try!

If you’ve been looking for some good tires, definitely check these out!!
Of course, we carry a variety of other tires as well, so please take a look!
