【BIKE of the WEEK】ALL-CITY Space Horse Disc

To meet the request of "wanting a bike that can go anywhere for touring rides," we built this bike based on the Space Horse Disc, which combines the nimble handling of a road bike with the stability of a randonneur when loaded up with gear.

Actually, the owner of this bike hadn't ridden "sports bikes" like road bikes before, but became interested in touring and day trips, which led them to consult with us. Therefore, instead of outfitting it with heavy equipment like racks for long-distance touring, we decided to build it with simple setups like saddlebags and handlebar bags so it could be easily enjoyed nearby first.

For the saddlebag, we used a supporter from CARRADICE, which holds heavy loads securely while also suppressing side-to-side sway. Furthermore, it features a one-touch structure for removing the saddlebag, which is convenient for when you want to enjoy a pure ride or carry the bag around.

Considering that a handlebar bag will be attached, we installed a PDW Light Nug light mount on the front fork end.

Being closer to the ground allows it to illuminate the road better—it's like killing two birds with one stone!

This frame has a "pump peg" welded behind the head tube for securing a frame pump.

When the day finally comes for multi-day touring, you can attach a pump here and head out on your trip. It stirs the imagination and tells the rider that the bike is ready to hit the road at any time.

No detail overlooked.

The attention to detail and beauty of the paint, which are characteristics of ALL-CITY, are things we never tire of admiring.
The performance of the CHRIS KING headset and BB installed on this frame goes without saying, and their black and gold two-tone color matches the frame color perfectly. It really elevates the sense of luxury.

The WHITE INDUSTRIES crank is a perfect match for the Space Horse Disc, which exudes a somewhat classical atmosphere. And the precision-machined chainring holds the chain securely, transmitting the rider's power wherever they want to go.

Once the rainy season—when it's hard to ride bikes—is over, the touring season begins.

Where should we go? What delicious food should we ride to eat? With what kind of gear, and what should we pack?
