On June 19th, the Tokai region—just days away from the start of the rainy season—experienced a midsummer day with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius. Participants who gathered that day in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, for Wonder Hopper Vol.3 tackled the ride in styles designed to beat the heat so they could enjoy a comfortable day.

TAKAHASHI with Cairn Pro II (FLOAT OUTDOOR)
Mr. TAKAHASHI from FLOAT OUTDOOR, already a familiar face at Circles and fresh in our memories from his recent POP UP, was wearing the Cairn Pro II. It offers the same functionality as the Cairn Evo Pro worn by Mr. OGAWA above; it is the predecessor model, and we are just happy to see him using it for so long.
HATTORI with Cairn 3D Pro II
Long-time Circles customer Mr. HATTORI was wearing the Cairn 3D Pro II. This is also an older model; starting this season, it has been updated to the Cairn Evo 3D Pro, which features a wider toe box. In addition to the Vibram® Megagrip outsole, this model features a 3D footbed that provides support for the sole of the foot and an even better fit.
SHIGE with Cairn Evo C
Circles staff member SHIGE is wearing the Cairn Evo C. This is a new release from this season, a model with a thicker footbed that offers excellent cushioning. While you lose some of the direct feel for the pedals and the ground, it is the most comfortable model in the entire lineup, making it a pair that is also great for everyday life.

And another participant, Ms. YOSHIKO, who joined the Boso Peninsula RIDE and RIDE presented by Circles Tokyo's Yosshi. She rode through the hot day in this style.
Apparently, she is planning to participate in the OMM BIKE this coming weekend in her BEDROCK SANDALS as well.
