It’s BEDROCK SANDALS season!
We’re seeing BEDROCK sandals and shorts flying off the shelves at the shop, and we’re excited to feel summer preparations getting underway.

Shige / Cairn → Cairn Pro Ⅱ Adventure Sandals / Trailblazer
Shige wears a BEDROCK color that’s no longer available. After about five years of wear, he used the ReSoul program to resole his Cairns with Cairn Pro Ⅱ soles. You can tell he’s taking good care of a pair that must be packed with memories of many adventures.

Makoto / Cairn Pro Ⅱ Adventure Sandals / Canyon Pattern
Makoto makes a bold-looking pattern seem effortless. The colorful palette actually makes it surprisingly easy to pair with other things! Makoto used to wear an older BEDROCK model, but wore it down until the sole was gone. He chose the Cairn Pro Ⅱ, the stiffest-soled model in the BEDROCK line, so it “won’t wear down no matter how much I walk while out with my dog, Daibutsu.”
Taisei / Cairn 3D Pro Ⅱ Adventure Sandals / Dusty Lilac
Taisei’s pair is so well-worn that we couldn’t help asking, “What color are those!?” He wears them almost every day in spring, summer, and fall (and sometimes winter). The fact that BEDROCKs hold up to all that wear without breaking or wearing down is a testament to their toughness.
Rintaro / Cairn 3D Pro Ⅱ Adventure Sandals / Charcoal
Rintaro chose the Cairn 3D Pro Ⅱ thinking, “The most expensive one has to have everything!!!” But what sealed the deal was that cycling was a priority, and these make it easy to push the pedals and transfer power.

Yellow Ochre brightens up any outfit, and it was love at first sight for Daa-chan. She usually wears a lot of blue, but the moment she tried on this pair, she knew: “You’re the one!”

After agonizing over which color to choose, Chan Mai went with Charcoal for its versatility, especially since she enjoys painting her toenails in summer. It’s just right—not as bold as black.

This is my seventh year wearing BEDROCK products. The Cairn embodies barefoot, zero-drop design while holding my feet securely in place, so I love wearing them whenever the weather allows, on and off the clock. After seven years, I’ve built up a rotation of several pairs, but my favorite is still the Cairn, the standard model that lets me feel the ground directly beneath my feet. I’m tempted by the new Cairn Evo that came out this year, but for now I plan to keep enjoying the models I already own.
From the sea and mountains to the city, from camping in the rain to the Namib Desert—I’ve walked so many different places in my BEDROCKs. I can’t bring myself to part with a pair packed with so many memories, and BEDROCKs are tough enough to keep up. With BEDROCKs that become one with your feet, you can feel the ground, connect with nature, and take your adventures to the next level.
