On the first holiday in March, I decided to head out in casual wear. It was intentional, I suppose; I took my wife, who had been lacking exercise, and we wandered aimlessly through the streets of Nagoya.
We had lunch at KAKUOZAN LADER, and on the way back, enjoyed some hanami dango at Shogetsu in Higashi Ward. It was about a 15km city walk, a great time spent savoring trivial conversations and the city sights.
Of course, in a city with nothing but paved roads, high-cushion sneakers might be more comfortable, but there’s no doubt that if you think of them in the category of sandals, they are exceptionally easy to walk in.
