[New Arrival] Way Over

“My imagination flies freely as if it had sprouted wings.”

I wrote this for a work called Primitive Adventure as part of the SimWorks Art Collective project.

From the graphics for a ride we named RIDEALIVE and the floral arrangements for everyone’s special days like the Gourmet Century table settings, to the weekly flowers decorating Ariba and PFM—there are just so many fun things going on.

When we’re together, I feel like we can reach great places.

It’s a place where, if you mix everyone’s values and favorite things together and run them through your own sensibilities, something interesting is bound to happen.

My life keeps circling, rewritten time and again alongside my SURLY / Pacer, which I repainted from green to pink at Circles.

The 6th and final installment of our Circles original T-shirt project, which we’ve been releasing since June, has been created by Kotaro Imoto, the owner of Atelier Mitikusa and Tumbleweed!

It started when he handled the artwork for the first RIDEALIVE we held in 2015 (believe it or not, the name “Ridealive” itself was Kotaro-san’s idea!), and he’s always been there to help with our events, such as doing the table settings for the Gourmet Century Ride, not to mention delivering the flowers that decorate Ariba and PFM every day. We’ve been constantly taken care of by Kotaro-san and everyone at Atelier Mitikusa and Tumbleweed.

Looking back at the various turning points for us, even while they were close at hand, Kotaro-san was always there as a truly reassuring presence, so it’s deeply moving to have him represent Circles in this way. I would be very happy if you all would wear this T-shirt and feel that as well.
