Its name is The Homage.

Back in the day, when 26-inch tires reigned supreme, there was a tire from Panaracer called the Mach SS that was considered the gold standard for semi-slick tires.

Time has passed, and we have since seen the birth of various wheel sizes like 27.5-inch and 29-inch, along with an increasing diversification in how people ride and enjoy bicycles. In this climate, SimWorks has paid homage to the history of bicycle culture while imagining the needs of current and future users. As a result, we have refined the Mach SS for gravel riding and all-terrain use, and our original tire is now complete!

Developed in collaboration with Panaracer, a Japanese tire manufacturer that the world is proud of, The Homage uses the latest casings and compounds found in tires like the GravelKing. It has been finished as a high-performance tire that is incomparable to the original Mach SS.

Whether it’s your important daily commute or a weekend ride, this is a tire that promises an all-terrain experience—allowing you to ride comfortably on asphalt, yet never hesitate to push forward when you decide to take a detour or discover a new path, even if it’s unpaved.

The lineup includes 700x43C and 650x43B sizes. In other words, they fit many cyclocross bikes, touring bikes, and commuters, including Surly’s Cross-Check and Straggler.

It is launching first in the classic black tread x black sidewall colorway.
Stay tuned, as we plan to add black x brown sidewall and light green x skin sidewall versions to the lineup in the future!

Recently, there have been many tubeless tires on the market, so some of you may be wondering whether The Homage is tubeless compatible.

Given the current existence of two distinct standards—pure tubeless and tubeless-ready—if you use rims like the standard Velocity or the quintessential tubeless rims from Stan's, you could likely use them as tubeless. However, please understand that we cannot explicitly label them as "tubeless-ready," so those who are up for the challenge are welcome to try.

Perhaps more importantly, for those of you whose curiosity drives you to take this high-volume tire anywhere, using it with tubes might ultimately be the best way to support those adventures.

In fact, ahead of this release, we had them installed on SYCIP and RETROTEC bikes at this year's NAHBS.

The Sycip bike is an all-terrain tourer, and the Retrotec is an all-around commuter. While both are unique, you can feel how this tire perfectly responds to their concepts.

Please feel free to consult with us regarding whether they will fit your bike.
Once you’ve got them mounted, why not head out on an epic adventure?!
