【SimWorks by NISSEN】Wired Wire Magic!!

So, everyone.
Have you ever paid attention to your brake or shift cables?

At Circles, we use SHIMANO cables and wires as our standard, but we also carry cables and wires from SimWorks by NISSEN.
I was blown away by these NISSEN wires.

Of course, since Shimano wires are the world standard (?), there’s really nothing to complain about.

If I had to pick one thing, it's that they are stiff.

I’m only able to say that after having used NISSEN wires, though...

Sometimes, brake or shift cabling inevitably has to follow a sharp curve. In such cases, if the wire is stiff, the high level of "tension" causes the outer casing and inner cable to rub together strongly, significantly reducing the feel of the brake lever (the tactile sensation when you squeeze it).

However, when you use a flexible wire, this "tension" is alleviated, resulting in a lighter brake touch.

The outer casing is incredibly soft, so I highly recommend it if you need a tight cable routing. And above all, the inner cable is truly impressive.
Just look at how it drapes.

It's an inner cable of the same diameter, but it uses almost twice as many individual strands as other manufacturers, which is why it moves so smoothly.

A rope made of thinner threads is more flexible, right?
This flexibility translates directly into the operation of your brake and shift levers.

Being able to move the levers with less force is a huge advantage, as it reduces fatigue from lever operation.

After riding for a long time, it actually takes a toll on you—kind of like a jab.
(Though I’ve never actually been hit by a jab.)

I think this is one of the easiest bike upgrades to feel, so if you're interested in experiencing it, by all means, give it a try.

Of course, we also have them available in plenty of colors, so I think they can be a great option for adding a splash of color to your bike!
