Thank you to everyone who joined us for the SKLAR POP UP and Sandwich Ride during our recent Tomei POP UP TOUR!
Both in Nagoya and Tokyo, we were joined mainly by SKLAR owners. It was such a great vibe from start to finish, with people taking commemorative photos, Adam and Nick starting a signing session, fellow SKLAR riders getting to know each other, and everyone trying out the new Super Something 2.0 as well as the various other SKLAR bikes brought by participants.
This was Adam’s first visit to Japan since he started the SKLAR business, and it was also Nick’s first time here. Thanks to all of you, I believe it became a truly wonderful memory for them. They’ve both said they want to come back, which tells me just how much they enjoyed it.
We also planned a touring trip between the Nagoya POP UP and the Tokyo event the following weekend. It was a pretty packed route, even by my standards, but I think they were happy with it (lol).

This is also a hand-drawn design by Nick. He actually created this illustration before he officially joined the SKLAR team; I’ve always loved how it funnily captures the world of camping rides on a SKLAR bike, so I asked him to make it into a special T-shirt for his visit to Japan.
