【SIMWORKS DOPPO ATB】Whichever you want.

Doppo [Doppo] {Noun}

① Walking alone. Solo travel.
② Tackling things entirely on one's own. "Independence"
③ Unrivaled, exceptional quality.

Everyone rides a bike differently. Do you want to ride long distances? Explore rough terrain? Or just use it for daily commuting and errands around town? Any of these are fine. There's nothing particularly special about it; we just want it to be a tool that blends into your own life. That is the wish embedded in Doppo.

Built to be as durable as possible, with the capability to carry luggage when needed, and ready for touring adventures. If it rains, just attach some fenders. We want as many people as possible—not necessarily in mass quantities, but steadily and surely—to get to know a frame that allows for such freedom of thought, and we hope you ride it into the ground for years to come. With that in mind, we commissioned the frame builder Shin Hattori, the pride of Aichi, to carefully craft each one by hand.

As our livelihood is running a bike shop, the honest truth is that we would love for everyone to buy new bikes, but in reality, that's beside the point. A rider only has one body, so there's nothing better than a single bike that can handle everything.

Doppo features disc brakes and has tire clearance for up to 700x43c / 27.5x2.1". Use 700C wheels if you want to ride long distances, or 650B wheels if you want to tackle rough roads or seek out higher tire volume. If you have two wheelsets for one frame according to your needs, there's no need to buy an additional bike. This is the greatest weapon of the modern disc-brake-equipped gravel bike, and to us, it is much more gratifying to see that one bike pushed to its full potential.

As an example of this, here are two Doppo bikes that were built with different assemblies and have safely found their new homes.

This one features a slightly wider drop bar, 27.5x1.75" Volummy Tires, and Turtle 58 fenders for the perfect fit—an assembly ready for rainy day commuting as well as serving as a partner for long weekend excursions. Full fenders are also reliable for the rainy season soon to arrive.

The cockpit, combining the Co Misirlou and Wendy for just the right amount of flex, is a perfect match for a bike with a concept like the Doppo.

On the other hand, the other build uses a Fun 3 Bar and is shod with 700x43c Homage tires, with a focus on dirt riding. It features a 1x drivetrain with a wide cassette in the rear, utilizing a microshift thumb shifter to operate an MTB rear derailleur. In other words, an assembly that doesn't care what road is ahead.

Add a rack to this, and it's a bike ready for touring or commuting.

While they each have different personalities, the time spent imagining whether to assemble with 700C or 650B wheels, and what kind of rides you'll realize on your Doppo, is a lot of fun. And when you finally bring it to life and start riding, an even more enjoyable world awaits.
