We have some new super-chill items from Portland, Oregon-based SimWorks USA.

While SimWorks is best known as a parts shop for small bicycle components, racks, handlebars, fenders, and tires, we also actually release a steady stream of soft goods meant to help you loosen up and chill out.

"T-shirts and socks are essential for life. I just wanted to make super-comfortable socks and T-shirts that would make everyone feel super-chill and spread that relaxed vibe to as many people as possible!" With that thought in mind, Rie-bo from SimWorks USA asked her favorite illustrator and close friend Nick, also known as Nicholas MHA, to "create a super-chill design."
And while we were at it, since staying hydrated is also important, we decided to make water bottles too!

When I asked Nick, "You've created another innovative design! What would you name this illustration?" he answered immediately: "Earth Gazer"!

The time Nick spends with SimWorks is always super-chill and fun. I learn a lot from Nick, but the main thing he's trying to say is, "You don't need to rush through life," "Let's minimize stress," "Let's stay comfortable," and "Just relax and enjoy life." Nick is a super-strong cyclist who can keep up with fast riders.

But when he rides with us, he enjoys and shares in our super-chill, laid-back rides. He doesn't mind that our pace is slow. Nick is happy to just laze around and take a nap while he waits. Sometimes he lies down on the ground, gazes at the night sky like a "Star Gazer," and teaches us that taking time to just lounge around is a very important part of life.

Super Chill & Earth Gazer Tee

Chill, yet intricate design

Like the bottles, the "Super Chill & Earth Gazer Tee" features a design by Nick.

We chose a soft, relaxed body that feels great to wear and puts you in a laid-back mood.

There are two designs: Earth Gazer and Super Chill logo. Available in three colors.

The neckline features double-stitching, so it won't stretch out easily even after lots of wear. At 5.6 oz, the fabric is thick enough that you don't have to worry about transparency, making it a great choice for any season and perfect for those who like to wear just one layer.

Super Chill Rover Socks

Merino socks for all-season comfort

To match the bottles and T-shirts, we had Nick design the socks as well. We manufactured them in North Carolina based on our favorite DeFeet Woolie Boolie model.

As the name suggests, Woolie Boolie socks are primarily made of Merino wool, offering excellent thermal retention. Merino wool is soft to the touch and itch-free. Furthermore, even when wet, Merino remains breathable, wicking away moisture to keep your feet warm.

With cushioned padding that is thicker than standard riding socks, they are perfect for mountain bike rides and long-distance hiking. They are also great for chilly nights camping; they keep your feet warm and I'm sure they'll become one of your favorite pieces of gear that you won't want to leave home without.

The color inspiration for the socks comes from 70s kitchens. We combined earth tones like avocado green with wood-grain and floral California poppy patterns. To match that, the other pair is a simple heather green that feels perfect for trail riding. "SimWorks" and "Super Chill" logos are woven into the top of the foot.

For a Truly Chill Day

Once these T-shirts and socks were ready, we immediately put them on, went surfing in the morning, and spent the day lounging on the beach. By evening, we were chasing the sunset on a trail ride.

We packed that day full of activities, but we still managed to take a nap on the beach and set aside plenty of time to relax.

We tend to occasionally lose sight of what we truly believe in. The Super Chill collection was created with the hope from the SimWorkers and Nick that we can all take a moment to properly relax, look inward, and feel the joy of living!
