It was almost five years ago now that Paisen, familiar to us from RIDE IS LIKE HAIKU, first ordered his SEVEN CYCLES / Evergreen SL. Since then, he’s ridden every rough road I know—I honestly wonder if there’s a path left that he hasn’t traveled.
There is a local low mountain that he and I have been hitting for a long time. Back then, we used to tear around on mountain bikes, but eventually, both of us started taking drop-bar bikes with the fattest tires possible into those hills.
His Evergreen, which originally ran on 700c tires, began using 650b wheels so he could go anywhere regardless of the path, and over time, he started to want even wider tires.
The answer to that is this bike.

Paisen’s request was simple: "I want to be able to run fat tires." Specifically, a drop-bar bike that could swallow a 27.5×2.22" SimWorks By Panaracer / SuperYummy.
Although this is his second Evergreen, we had already locked in the measurements to fit his body perfectly with the first one, so we didn't change the basic design—we just modified it to accommodate the tire clearance he desired.
And since it was his second time, we utilized Dropped Chain Stays and Moto 3D Chain Stays. This allowed us to provide the comfortable off-road ride he wanted while ensuring solid traction on rough roads, all without compromising the frame’s stiffness.

Recently, thanks to the emergence of "gravel bikes," the lines between them and mountain bikes have become increasingly blurred. But categories are just things someone else created; what truly matters is not the bike type or category, but where you want to go yourself and how you want to get there.
And for Paisen, this bike is truly one of a kind.

Why not realize the ride you’ve been envisioning with SEVEN CYCLES? A bike built from the ground up—one that fits your body perfectly and is tailored specifically to how you ride—defies categorization and will undoubtedly become the best bike you’ve ever owned.
