We recently received this SEVEN CYCLES / Axiom. As it has been used for travel, the paint had some chips, so we were asked to perform an overhaul along with a repaint by Kyutai Paint.
Since it is used for travel, the frame was built with S&S couplers—parts that allow the frame to be split in two—so that it can be packed as compactly as possible when taking it on a plane.

Originally, the bike seems to have run with front and rear caliper brakes, but to prioritize stopping power, the front fork was replaced with a WOUND UP / Gravel X Disc Fork to switch to a disc brake.
The fact that the owner uses MTB pedals instead of road pedals gives us a glimpse into how they have traveled to many different places with this bike.
Of course, the true appeal of a custom order is not only building a frame to fit the rider’s body, but also being able to clarify how it will be used and creating a one-of-a-kind bike tailored specifically to those needs.
Seven, in particular, makes it possible to build the best bike for every single customer through detailed counseling based on their own unique fitting methods cultivated over many years.
For this project, we arranged for new decals from Seven to repaint it, with the paint design split to match the S&S coupler sections.
With the overhaul complete, it is now ready for new journeys.
Just imagining the scenery the owner will see on this bike is exciting.
