Search and State

“Simple is best”
Isn’t this the perfect phrase to describe "Search and State"?

While minimizing ornamentation, the apparel makes you think it’s “cool” through a meticulous attention to detail that isn't immediately obvious, such as the fabric texture, choice of parts, and sewing. Beyond their appearance, they also offer extremely high performance.

The fabrics used for "Search and State" items are high-quality materials produced within the United States, and they are manufactured in a New York factory, maintaining a simple and beautiful style even in their approach to craftsmanship.

We have stocked these SAS items, so let us introduce them to you.

S1A Riding Jersey ¥16,000 (excl. tax)
Black / Green / Grey / White

Although it is a solid color, if you look closely, it is actually a two-tone color woven with two different colored threads—a jersey with character that isn't too simple. Of course, it uses a high-performance material with moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties.
The zipper is from the Swiss company riri. This really adds to the atmosphere.

The tape used on the inside of the collar and at the seams to protect the skin is another detail that shows their commitment.

S1J Riding Jacket ¥29,500 (excl. tax)
A jacket made from waterproof, windproof, breathable, and stretchy fabric.
While it may not be necessary for hard rides in the coming season, it can be used for three seasons as a rain jacket during the rainy season or as a shell during winter.
Like the jersey, this also features a riri zipper. Among them, it uses the water-resistant model that is frequently seen in outdoor wear recently. It also features a double zipper, which is rarely seen in cycling wear. Beyond the functionality, I personally love the look of these water-resistant zippers.

S1V Riding Vest ¥27,000 (excl. tax)
And here is a vest with the same specifications as the "S1 Riding Jacket."
As with the jacket mentioned above, both come equipped with back pockets.

During our holiday ride the other day, both Shige and Keita from Alibi were wearing them.

It’s a bit thicker than the "Madeleine Gilet" from "Cafe du Cycliste" that I often wear, but since it uses a waterproof fabric, it would be great to carry along on summer rides where you might be worried about rain.

Of course, we also have bib shorts in the lineup.
S1S Bib Shorts ¥26,500 (excl. tax)
This season has seen the release of innovative bib shorts that seem to concentrate cutting-edge technology, such as "ASSOS," which released a new model for the first time in several seasons, and Q36.5, which started in earnest this spring.
However, the structure of these SAS bib shorts seems unconcerned with such high-performance hype. They are simply very comfortable bib shorts that feel great even when worn for long periods.
In the image above, Keita from Alibi is wearing these SAS bib shorts.

If you touch the fabric, everyone will surely think, "This is quality!"

And the only accessory.
S1AW Arm Warmers ¥6,000 (excl. tax)
Like the bib shorts, these arm warmers use a very pleasant fabric.
The key point is the subtle brushing on the inside.
These are arm warmers that can be used for a long season, even into warmer periods than normal warmers.

Because they are simple, they conversely stand out from what others are wearing. That’s very much like sportswear.
Anyway, setting that aside, the items released by SAS are all simple, beautiful, and excellent.

While the number of items is still small, SAS is a brand where we can look forward to future releases of items we haven't seen yet.
Please, everyone, do give them a try.
