RITCHEY Outback —Stepping Beyond the Path Unknown—

Spring, summer, autumn, winter. Bicycles are wonderful because even on your home course, the scenery changes with the passing seasons, and you can enjoy the same path over and over. But you might want to expand those horizons—to ride roads you’ve never ridden before. Here is a bicycle that will inspire that very feeling.

RITCHEY Outback

RITCHEY is a brand built by Tom Ritchey, a master in the handmade world. Early on, he adopted the integrated head tube for all his models, and his sharp, beautiful frame construction is always eye-catching. In a gravel bike scene where tires have been rapidly growing in size, RITCHEY has released a gravel bike that meets these demands with an indescribable, timeless presence.

The beautiful matte green color is named Guac y Crema—or guacamole, that delicious green paste made primarily of avocado that you dip tortilla chips into. Given the Mexican color name, you might expect something spicy, but guacamole is actually quite mild. Just like that, contrary to its aggressive look that says, "I can ride any road," this Outback features a longer rear-end geometry, offering stable, mild handling even on off-road terrain.

Abundant Mounts

The versatility isn't just in the tires; it is also, of course, ready for modern bike packing.

Starting with the bottle mounts under the down tube, the newly designed carbon fork features mounts that can secure cages carrying up to 3kg on each side. Fender and rack mounts are also included as a matter of course. There is something surprisingly dignified about it when it’s kitted out with fenders.

It’s a machine that draws out the desire to enjoy every season and every place as the year unfolds. It’s the kind of bike you’d dream up while scooping guacamole with a tortilla chip and washing it down with a beer—a bike that was truly made because someone wanted it that much. That bike you’re falling for right now might just be the RITCHEY Outback.
