Hello, I’m Rintaro from the web shop team.
Starting this month, we’re kicking off a new column where web shop staff introduce their recommended products. I’m going to have all our web shop team members write for it. Who should I pick next? Probably me again, though.
Are you ready? I know I am.
I mean, if I’m the one who stocked these items, it would be wrong not to introduce them myself, right? I’m a man who, when he says he’ll do something, actually does it.
J.B.S.S Hi-Vis Hard Hat Bag

Color:Orange, Green, Yellow
Price:¥4,620
I know you all love reflective materials, so I stocked some blindingly bright bags.
In 1975, after returning from the Vietnam War, the Jackson brothers founded J.B.S.S (Jackson Brothers Safety Service), a company manufacturing safety equipment, in a rural part of California. They developed durable, stylish safety gear that was adopted at various construction sites, helping to keep workers safe. One day, while inspecting a site, they were confronted with a scene where the safety gear they had made was being discarded. It made them sad to see gear meant to protect lives being treated with such indifference. That was unthinkable in the war zones they had experienced. So, to spread the importance of taking care of one’s tools, they made bags for protecting hard hats and handed them out to the workers. The workers were thrilled, as they used safe, high-visibility material. This product was created based on that concept (which I basically made up).
As soon as I read that brand story, I put it in my cart ASAP. The design is spot on—it’s got that print you’d see a blue-collar worker abroad wearing, but it’s a tote bag. (Actually, it’s a hard hat bag. It seems it’s meant for carrying a helmet.)

Please take this completely TPO-ignorant, super-flashy bag with you when you go shopping. You’ll be incredibly visible even at night. The side snaps are surprisingly convenient for adjusting the shape of the gussets, and the front zip pocket—a rarity for tote bags—is great for stashing your wallet, keys, and other small items.
And just as I’m writing this, it seems it’s been a hit in the store… stock is already running low!
STERILITE Storage Crate

Color:Black, White
Price:¥2,750
A square storage box. You can use it to store notebooks and files at your desk, or kitchen staples... of course you can, but it looks like a perfect fit for a cargo bike or a rack! Just zip-tie it or secure it with some hemp rope and it transforms into a high-capacity basket in no time.
The texture is a bit cheap, but that adds to the good vibes.
Specifically, for mounting on a CRUST Cargo Fork, I personally believe depth is key, so this depth is just right. It’s not too wide, either—it’s incredibly easy to use, this thing.

DUCK MAX One Tie Reusable Tie Strap

Length:8, 14, 26 inches
Price:¥1,100 – 1,980
In short, these are silicone zip ties. They’re reusable and seriously durable. You can bundle cords, secure wine bottles, use them as pant leg straps, connect two to make a bigger strap...
The ways you can use your tie straps are limitless! How about that? Fun, right? (In the style of a Rainbow Art Deluxe commercial)
If you thread the end through the hole like a belt, it provides a very secure hold.
The 8-inch (¥1,100) and 14-inch (¥1,980) come in 6-packs, while the 26-inch comes as a single piece due to its length, but comes in a wide variety of colors.
Straps like this are great because you can use them in everyday life, regardless of whether you're into cycling or outdoor hobbies.
It’s been a while since my last blog post, but as they say, "If you find yourself thinking 'I must write a blog post,' by that time the action has already been completed!" I’ve basically turned into a machine that just wants to quote Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, so I’ll end it here.
See ya!!
