Just showing proof that I've been doing various things for a change.

This year is ending in the blink of an eye, but at Circles, thanks to you all, we spend our days busy with everything from fixing mom-chari (city bikes) to performing overhauls to bring old bikes back to life. Although we haven’t been able to introduce them all, many wonderful bicycles have been born recently and have headed off to their new owners.

So, today we’re bringing back our long-lost "They Went to Their New Homes" series—let's check out some bikes we've delivered recently!

ALLCITY / SPACE HORSE DISC

First up is the All-City Space Horse Disc. This bike, commissioned by a husband as a gift for his wife, was boldly repainted from its stock color by Kyutai Paint. It turned out to be a fresh, mint-blue beauty.

In contrast to its vibrant color, we chose a more understated Matte Slate Chris King headset. For the handlebars and stem, we recommended the SimWorks Misirlou bar and Wendy stem with a 26.0mm clamp for better handling. We also equipped it with Volummy tires so that even the wife, who was riding a drop-bar bike for the first time, could ride in comfort.

Of course, in the future, she can add a rack or fenders. While it can handle up to 43c tires with 700c wheels, converting it to 650B opens up even more possibilities. It’s a reliable partner that lets you go anywhere—from your daily commute to shopping in the city, or even touring and gravel rides—without any fuss.

SURLY / CROSS-CHECK

Next up is Surly's eternal classic, the Cross-Check. It makes me happy that, compared to a while ago, more people in Nagoya are enjoying a style rooted in daily life with flat bars. We owe this in no small part to a certain "Blue Lug" brand that advocates for the everyday bike.

We assembled it using Fairweather Bullmoose bars and downtube shifters. Since Shimano doesn't currently offer compatible downtube shifters for their current Tiagra groupset, we went with ENE-CICLO for this build. While we would have loved to match it with Fairweather tires, we intentionally chose Grand Bois Cyprès 700x30c tires instead. This tire provides a subtle, unique volume that rolls smoothly while allowing for a comfortable ride over urban bumps without a second thought.

We chose the downtube shifters in the hope that the owner could easily change the handlebars in the future—even to drop bars. With just this one bike, we guarantee you can enjoy a comfortable cycling life for years to come.

A great starting point = a great destination!

SURLY / LONG HAUL TRUCKER

The Long Haul Trucker, named after a long-distance truck driver, isn't just for the purpose of riding long and far. Perhaps its true charm lies in the depth of its versatility, allowing us to propose it for various purposes based on its geometric characteristics.

That’s right: throw on high-rise handlebars and fat, knobby tires, and it instantly transforms into an ATB (All-Terrain Bike) reminiscent of a Stumpjumper. We used a Matte Emerald headset as an accent and finished the wheels with heavy-duty Velocity Cliffhanger rims. You can cruise through the city at a leisurely pace, or if you're in the mood, take it out on mountain trails or go for a long tour.

The wonderful thing about bicycles is that you can create them not for someone else, but for yourself.

We build bikes almost every day. A wonderful chemical reaction occurs between the varied requests of our customers and our own experience. We have just created a page to showcase these beautiful bikes, each like our own child. Please click the link, let your imagination run wild, and start building your one-of-a-kind bike!
