Getaran is back!!

From the pit today.

We received a request to overhaul a single-speed bike that originally came with drop bars and convert it for daily use by swapping out the handlebars. We installed our staple SimWorks bar, the Get Around Bar.

"Exquisite" is the perfect word for this bar, which hits the trifecta of ideal width, a nice sweep, and a comfortable rise. It is incredibly popular at SimWorks USA, and Shige, who was stationed at our USA office until recently, claims that there wasn't a single week where he didn't ship these out!

Thanks to the natural compliance of the chromoly tubing, you can ride smooth lines just as you intend even on off-road terrain, making it a great choice for ATB-style bikes like this one.

Of course, it’s also a perfect match for a daily commuter used for getting to work or running errands in town. The person pictured is Stephen, who works at Chris King. He cut the bar width down a bit to use on his commuter bike.

Both the silver and black models are items that always move quickly, but we’ve successfully restocked both colors this time.

And actually, there is also a titanium version of the Get Around Bar that brings that same exquisite design to the ultimate material. It is manufactured by the Boston-based masters at Seven Cycles. It promises an even higher-quality ride in terms of both weight and stiffness.
