Summer is for shorts, right!?

I used to think it was common sense to wear shorts on hot days, but it seems that was just my own assumption.

The stylish young people I see around town don't wear shorts very often. Even the young folks who ride their bikes to Circles, or the staff members who work here part-time, have some who don't wear them at all.

Come on, it’s so hot out, let’s show some knee! Once you experience how comfortable it is, you’ll definitely want to expand your collection right away!!!

Even on days I don't ride my bike, I'm always wearing shorts. I’ll definitely be wearing them plenty in September, and there's no doubt they'll be just as useful in October! Shorts are a three-season essential for spring, summer, and autumn!

So, I’d like to reintroduce the functional and versatile shorts we have here at Circles.

【RAL】
Ral Shorts

PRICE :¥14,300 (tax included)
COLOR : Navy, Beige, Green, Orange
SIZE : S(28inch), M(30inch), L(32inch), XL(34inch), XXL(36inch)
Material: 100% Polyester
Made in Japan, Gujo, Gifu

These are the "must-buy" shorts for the Circles staff this year. A pair that stands out for its loose silhouette and quick-drying properties. They feature a double-layered fabric construction for durability and excellent pocket storage. Their look is also a key reason why they are so popular with many people. Choosing a size larger than your usual, and pairing them with an oversized top, is a great way to style them.

By the way, in the photo at the beginning, I’m 170cm tall, weigh 60kg, and I’m wearing a size L here. Of course, I have the waist cinched in with a belt.

【SWRVE】
Durable Cotton Camp Shorts

PRICE : ¥15,950 (tax included)
COLOR : Black, Navy, Dark Grey, Olive Drab
SIZE : 28, 30, 32, 34, 36

We’re introducing two pairs from SWRVE, the LA-based apparel brand that is a staple at Circles. They are incredibly durable and have excellent stretch, making them stress-free even while pedaling. You can also enjoy how the fabric changes as you break them in. Despite this, they are resistant to friction, so the seat won’t just fade away on its own. The fading occurs fairly evenly across the entire pair of shorts, so you can wear them hard without a second thought. Their clean, neat silhouette also makes them attractive for a slightly more mature look.

【SWRVE】
Transverse Rambler Belted Shorts

PRICE : ¥15,950 (tax included)
COLOR : Black, Navy, Grey, Olive Drab
SIZE : 28, 30, 32, 34, 36

These also have amazing durability and stretch, but they keep the inside of the fabric feeling dry and comfortable even when you're sweating. This pair is a personal favorite of Taku’s, which he bought during the photoshoot. The waist features a strap design so you don’t need a belt, and the large pockets that can hold plenty of gear are a great feature. They aren't quite as heavy-duty as the Durable Cotton Camp Shorts, but the fact that the silhouette is slightly slimmer and the length is longer than similar shorts from outdoor brands really appeals to us cyclists.

【PATAGONIA】
M’s Outdoor Everyday Shorts

Color : New Navy, Pitch Blue, Bayou Blue, Sage Khaki
Size: XS ~ XL
Price : ¥11,550 (tax included)

These are still a relatively new model from PATAGONIA, but they are the shorts I’ve been wearing the most this year. The fabric is moderately thin and provides stress-free, excellent stretch. They have two side pockets on each side, offering fantastic storage capacity! The 7-inch length is also a bit longer, so you can ride with peace of mind when straddling the saddle. I was worried about their durability after continuous cycling, but so far there have been no issues at all and I’ve been wearing them hard. The size range is broad as well, so I recommend these to those looking for larger sizes.

【HOUDINI】
M’s Daybreak Shorts
W’s Daybreak Shorts

PRICE : ¥17,600 (tax included)
COLOR : Hazel, True Black, Blue illusion
SIZE : XS, S, M, L, XL

These are made with Prime Ripstop™ fabric, which features excellent durability, stretch, and breathability. The characteristics of this fabric are perfect for cycling, and since the length isn't too short and the silhouette is clean, the fabric doesn't get caught on the saddle or anywhere else while pedaling, and there's no need to worry about the openings at the hem. Plus, the silhouette gives you a slightly more subdued, mature vibe. By the way, this is a men's size S.

It’s just so hot, so I end up wanting even more shorts. Many people come into the shop every day saying, "It’s honestly just so hot..." while they look for shorts.

I might just go ahead and buy another pair myself...

With that, check out our Summer Shorts Collection!
