Actually, there was one more featured motorcycle!

Every year, I go for a mountain ride that I call my "New Year's Ride," and I made it out again this year!

It was warmer than usual, and despite the snow at the end of last year, there was almost nothing left, but I still went out with Makoto-paisen leading the way. It’s been a while since I’ve ridden behind him, and damn, he just glides along, doesn't he? I’d look up and find myself left behind, but I managed to pick up a few tricks from him (haha).

Early in the New Year, I was able to get away from the daily grind and enjoy some mountain biking.

But setting that aside,

I'm sure some of you who have seen us riding in the mountains lately have been curious about it. Although this was a demo bike, the price is unheard of.

Since it's an early model, it features an Inset 1 headset and sliding dropouts, making it compatible with both single and multi-speed setups.
And the highlight is the wheels! It’s got Chris King ISO hubs, but the rear is a Single Speed Hub! Plus, it comes with White Industries cranks. It’s a bike built for pure, uncomplicated fun!

Please understand that this was used as both a display and a demo bike, so it does have some scratches. (Though, to be fair, you’d end up with scratches anyway once you actually take it out for a ride, so I don't think it’s anything to worry about.)
