It's summer, after all!

It's summer, alright!

These days, the heat is constant, and they say today's high will be 29°C.

Despite that weather, I’m the type who stubbornly refuses to wear shorts on workdays, though on my days off, it’s gotta be shorts.
Of course, our customers are in a summer mood too, and most people looking for pants are after shorts.
So, this time I’d like to introduce two models from the many pairs of shorts by SWRVE.
First up is this!
Oh, that’s a shot of Circles ace, "Shige."
Yes, the pants he’s wearing in this photo are one of the pairs we’re recommending this time.
SWRVE makes urban cycling wear, but they have also released shorts that you can definitely take out to the mountains.
SWRVE
Lightweight wwr Shorts(blk_l)  ¥12600
COLOR : Olive , Prussian Blue
"wwr" stands for "water and wind repellant"—in other words, they’re water-repellent and windproof.
Naturally, they are highly stretchy, and the ripstop material provides great durability.
Also, as the name "Lightweight" implies, the fabric is light and thin, so they are guaranteed to be useful during the upcoming hot season!
Because they have a relaxed silhouette, the wind naturally blows through even while you’re cycling, providing excellent breathability; they’re probably the lightest and most comfortable pants SWRVE makes.
By the way, Shige-kun owns two pairs of these.
And here is one more recommendation!
SWRVE
Cotton Shorts ¥10500
They aren't "skinny" exactly, but they have a neat, straight fit. They are a bit narrower around the waist, and compared to the "Lightweight wwr Shorts," the difference is clear.
By the way, I’m 170cm tall and 63kg, and I wear 30 inches in both, but honestly, the 30-inch Cotton Shorts are a tight fit, and I’m starting to think 32 inches might be better.
Many customers also choose a size one larger than the SWRVE size they wore before.
Even though they’re called cotton shorts, cotton is just the main material; it’s a stretch fabric that’s very flexible, and despite the slim line, they’re comfortable to ride a bike in.
They come in plenty of colors—a total of four.
From the right:
Black , Slate Blue , Dark Grey , Brown
My recommendation is the Slate Blue I'm wearing in the photo; there's just something about that earthy look I can't resist.
And since I personally prefer a relatively short hem length, I also recommend wearing them rolled up.
Well, that’s just a matter of preference, of course.
Also, in our previous blog "TwinSix DARK," there was a line that went,

"If you're wearing the black SWRVE wool jersey..."
—here is how it looks paired with that SWRVE Wool Jersey.

...
It’s a clean silhouette that makes you want to pair it with more than just polo shirts, but button-ups as well.
By the way, if you’re curious about this polo shirt, please check out "merino wool" here and here.
I wore this polo when I went to Nebiso at the beginning, and it felt great.
I was worried about falling while wearing it, and as I feared, I did fall—twice.
I was biting my nails, afraid it might have ripped, but there wasn't any significant damage, so I was relieved to have escaped unharmed.
Anyway, long story short, it's hot.
If you’re looking for shorts, give these a try. Signing off.
