The NEW YEAR SALE has come to a close with great success, and we are back to our regular business operations.
However, it is cold today, isn't it? We’ve even seen some snow flurries from time to time.
With all the hustle and bustle of the SALE, we nearly forgot to share two wonderful bikes we delivered at the end of last year. Both are custom road orders—a collaboration of Japanese and American handmade bicycles.
First up is a Retrotec Cycle by the nice guy from California, Curtis Inglis.
This is a semi-custom Twin Road. It features the signature Retrotec round-top style, but with the "Twin" specification, which consists of two parallel tubes.
The custom paint job with the iconic "darts" pattern is striking and unforgettable once you've seen it. As for the parts, we moved components over from the owner's previous bike, while upgrading the bar-end shifters to DoubleTap levers.
It’s turned out to be a speedy exploration bike that can even handle some light gravel!

Panasonic “FPC17” Special Paint by Kyutai Paint
The other bike is from Japan's proud Panasonic Order System. (Please be sure to check out this entry about POS as well)
The base FPC17 is a steel frame capable of competing in races. Its uniquely compliant tubing provides a finish with just the right amount of springiness.
For this build, we went all out with a special paint job by Kyutai Paint.
With pink accents and an ENVE fork finished in clear coat to match the frame, it really stands out!
