MASH JAPAN PREMIERE

Track ends.

Among the many types of bicycle dropouts, these are special to some people.

These are the ends used on keirin bikes,

commonly known as track bikes or fixies.

I am one of the people who has a special attachment to these ends.

A special event for people like us will be held in Tokyo this weekend.

Eight years ago, a film called "MASH" was released.

Back then, many people were inspired by "MASH" to start riding track bikes.

This is the premiere of the second film.

It feels like young people, around the same age as those who were riding track bikes back then,

have recently started riding them too.

From Circles, Taka and I—who were obsessed back then—

along with Miyan-chan, a new-generation Circles part-timer

who owns three track bikes, are the three of us who will be attending.

By the way, Miyan-chan is a student at a vocational school for violin repair.

For those who experienced "MASH" in real-time eight years ago,

this new MASH might not have the same impact as the original.

But I want to see what kind of people the generation experiencing MASH for the first time are,

and what kind of feelings they bring with them as they gather.

I want to be right in the middle of it, experiencing and feeling that atmosphere firsthand.

See you at the venue!
