[MASH] All Road 2024

As mentioned in our recent blog, sales of the MASH All Road 2024 start tomorrow, Friday the 26th. It will be available in-store first, followed by our web shop later. Let’s quickly review the schedule.

MASH All Road 2024 Release Schedule

In-store: Friday, January 26, 2024, from 10:00 AM
Online: Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 7:00 PM

At Circles, we carry three colors: Navy Smoke, Neon Fade, and Matte Phosphate. In our previous blog, we introduced a build using last year’s color, but to mark the start of in-store sales tomorrow, we’ve prepared an original complete bike.

We chose Navy Smoke. Actually, when we decided to build a MASH All Road, some parts we really wanted to use happened to arrive right at the perfect time. As we thought about color combinations that would make those parts pop, we realized that pairing them with Navy Smoke was the way to go.

It turns out that Tommy from BLUE LUG also suggested the same color, so I feel like I'm a bit late to the party (lol).

The All Road, according to MASH

The flat-bar road style build Tommy proposed is really great, isn't it? It’s a true all-rounder that can be ridden hard every day while also letting you go the extra mile on your days off.

Of course, the fact that it’s made by MASH alone makes it highly anticipated, but even looking at the market, it’s rare to find a frame that accommodates tires up to 700x35c while still allowing for racks and fenders. I think it’s a genuinely unique, interesting frame that can’t be replaced by anything else.

When I imagine the customers who would choose the MASH All Road at Circles, I think many of them will use it as a tool for adventure, so I assembled this bike specifically as a fun machine for those kinds of riders.

Not a gravel bike, but an all-road bike

With a drop bar, 2x GRX Limited drivetrain, and 700x32c tires, the core of this build is enjoying long rides, with the ability to handle unexpected gravel paths that you might encounter after climbing a mountain pass. That’s the flavor of this build. The 2x drivetrain is key.

If you want a sharper ride, you can go with thinner tires. Conversely, if you want more stability and comfort on unpaved roads, you could max out the clearance with 700x35c tires or convert to 650B.

It’s definitely an all-road bike, not a gravel bike, so the fundamental premise is that it can ride a decent distance quickly and comfortably. From there, it would also be fun to tailor it toward daily use or perhaps a fast bike-packing setup.

If this piqued your interest, please come check it out. It goes on sale in-store tomorrow, so we look forward to seeing you.

Looking at it again, I admit it’s quite a bold build, but these are exactly the parts I wanted to use. A highly anticipated big-ticket item that came all the way from Germany. I’ll introduce this in more detail later, so stay tuned.
