【MASH】 AC-2 Release!!!!

January 6, 2021, 09:00 AM local time
A new aluminum track frame has been released by MASH SF, a shop based on Sanchez St. in San Francisco, California.

As many of you may know, MASH SF is a crew and brand that is impossible to ignore when talking about fixed-gear culture.
Their previously released MASH STEEL also gained great popularity, and at Circles, other than the MJS Black colorway which pays homage to NJS aesthetics, all other colors have sold out.

It is no exaggeration to say that MASH is responsible for spreading fixed-gear bikes to the world. I myself am one of those people whose eyes were opened to the vast world of cycling because of fixed-gear bikes.

While the bikes offered by MASH are single-speed, they suggest a wide variety of styles.

MASH AC-2 Alley Cat Frame

【MASH】 AC-2 Frame Set

Color : Grey / Neon Orange / Matt Raw
Size : XS / S / M / L / XL
Price : 138,000 JPY (excl. tax)

The MASH AC-2 released this time is a pure track frame made of aluminum, unlike the STEEL model. The 7000-series stiff and lightweight aluminum frame directly translates the power of your pedal stroke.

MASH describes it as an "Alley Cat Frame."
The name refers to a stray cat, and the frame is likely designed with the image of darting through back alleys and narrow streets in mind.

While there are no major changes from the previous AC-1 model, the seat angle has been adjusted for certain sizes. By steeping the head tube angle, it has moved closer to a more aggressive, race-ready geometry.

Available in 3 colors.

  • Grey Color
The previous AC-1 design was inspired by the grey-scale charts often seen in the photography and film production environments where MASH excels, and this new artwork is also quite unique.
  • Neon Orange Color
It’s a clever color choice, reminiscent of the popular Orange color from the previously released Steel model.
The matching artwork looks great too.
  • Raw Color
I have a feeling this simple, raw aluminum finish will be a popular choice.
The welding marks and the MASH logo floating on the bare aluminum look incredible.
Material enthusiasts will surely drool over this one.

This bike is not only agile for street riding, but it will also perform well in high-speed races like criteriums!
